Our new home in the United
States of America
...who would have thought about it!! Just
2 1/2 years are gone since we came back from an Assignment. We lived in
a village called Briarcliff Manor close to New York City from 7/1998 to
7/2000. From there we moved to Deckenpfronn, another small village, in
the area of Boeblingen (Stutgart). At that time, we planned not to leave
that place for another 10 years and started to build up relationship to
new frinds and also became active member of the German Red Cross (OV Deckenpfronn).
Then, my employer asked, if I would be interested in going to the US again
for another assignment. Since that is always a challenge and opens the
horizon for new ideas and experiences... we agreed. Now we are here...
in Austin, the capitol of Texas.
That's the place where we will live for the
next 2 years... from January 4th, 2003:
